This winter break I’m hoping to complete most of my little attainable goals. Watercolor postcards, filling my parents’ house walls with art, trying new recipes from a cookbook that was sent to me, more yoga in the sun, making music. Last but not least me and my best friend are having a wedding reception. The idea is too good to be true so I’m not going to say what it is just yet. I might as well marry her for real.

I’m pretty sure what I want is someone to keep me warm at night. Someone who doesn’t mind sleeping by the window and will rub my back and arms for me. No strings attached.

I finally bought my first box of condoms! Just following my mom’s advice, ya know?
i’m running the honolulu marathon on sunday, thousands of miles away from my family. i was a little upset today at the thought of not having loved ones cheering me on. i thought “poor me, poor me.” but i realized that i should be grateful that i am young and able to train for a marathon in less than three months. there are people who would do anything to run or move, period, again. in the end, this race is for myself, and while i would love for my family to be there, i am all i need to push myself through.
I am so proud of you for doing this! I remember when you first started training. Isn’t it amazing to see how much you have progressed and seeing/feeling what your body is capable of. And you’re right, being able to run this race is a blessing. I’m wishing you the best of luck! You have to tell me all about it, k?
I use to be the master at prank phone calls. I bet if I prank phone called someone today I’d still have it.
